Our Work

Celebrating the children's achievements

Pupils in Celtic team football strip

In different ways our children achieve things every day. For some just to make it to school after helping collect rubber from 4am with their parents is in itself an achievement. Our brighter students have won English competitions against private education schools in Chanthaburi. Every year we send a team of students to Bangkok to compete on a national level for English language skills.

Our activities involving music and sport allow all of our students to feel a sense of achievement whether their strengths lie in academia or sports. There is no doubt that with more funding our students could achieve more. Science is one area where more funding is critical if we are to make progress in this subject in the future.

For our special needs children the greatest achievement was to find a school. At The Good Child Foundation they experience a loving environment to fulfil their potential. Staff of The Good Child Foundation embrace the positive approach to inclusion for all abilities and believe that Downs Syndrome children will benefit from being part of their school.
